This was our first time with Carnival and we were a little leery about cruising with them but we really wanted to see the Vista. We have been on several big ships, Epic, Allure, etc and we wanted to see how this one compared. It lived up to the others. Every ship has pros and cons. Here is how we saw it.

The staff on this ship were by far the friendliest that we have been on. Everyone spoke to us and the staff went out of their way to help us with anything. Nelson, our steward, was always busy doing his job, but never missed seeing us come and go from our room. We was very attentive to our needs and did a super job keeping us organized.

The activities and shows were plentiful. The Liquid Lounge was oddly set up. It was not big enough for the guests and it seemed like a multipurpose room. It wasn't quite big enough for the activities that were held there. We missed the big production show like on Epic and Allure. The shows here were a little corny.

Comfortable bed, plenty of storage and hangers. Great tv. Love the bed near the window,

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Went to Smith Cove but the water was too rough from a storm to snorkel. Then we took a taxi to 7 mile beach near Calico Jack's. Had lunch at Jack's place. Decent food and good drinks. Busy place. Chairs were $20 for two. Lots of taxi's to take us back to the port.
