Sail Date: Jan 2017
Cabin: Large Oceanview Stateroom

We booked a charter for the last week in January then decided to add the two weeks prior to acclimate to this ship. We loved many things about this ship: the muster drill is NOT held on the promenade deck but inside; the music venues are all on the same deck and you cannot hear one when visiting the other; the eateries are numerous: Grand Dutch Cafe is a nice addition. Happy hour held in three venues. Love the shower without a tub-much safer not having to climb over the tub. The dining room is fresh, bright and beautiful. The World Stage is amazing with its convertible floor and 270 degree video screen. The aft pool area is really nice with the comfortable seating and overhead cover for shade. The lido pool area is beautiful especially at night with the mood lighting. Also enjoy the movie screen and movies with pillowed lounges for viewing. Also pleased to have movie theater food offered through the NY Deli. Speaking of the NY Deli - it has a nice bagel breakfast sandwich in the AM, love the pizza and sandwich offerings for noon and evenings.

Cons: Casino smoke drifts down to the music venues. Signage for the food offerings in the Lido are to small and at an odd angle so one cannot see what is offered until you are right in front of the sign. Chairs in Lido, dining room, Queens Lounge and Billboard Onboard are extremely heavy.

Cabin Review

Large Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin D

Plenty of storage with drawers, cubbies and closets.

Layout for this cabin was odd due to a connecting door. When beds are split there is only about one inch between them and getting to the far bed meant squeezing between the bed and desk.

Showers are great.

Couch location is impractical due to nightstand on one and and the bed directly in front.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Tender process was easy. Grabbed a cab to go snorkeling nearby. Lots of shopping available in the port area.
