Beautiful ship, great for families but let down by the food.

Cabin: Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

I tried this ship as it was brand new, large and I wanted to see what RCL was like.

The ship is impressive, with well presented cabins, lots of space and options for relaxing both inside and outside. I've never been on a ship with so many recreational activities for kids. I even tried rock climbing. I've also never seen such a comprehensive gym on a ship and the pools were great.

We travelled with a group of 6 people, all of us were over 50 with no children. Being in this category, the little pleasures we enjoy and look forward to on a cruise include good food and good coffee. Unfortunately, this ship didn't deliver any of these for us, and we were left disappointed. Talking to others on the ship, they were of the same opinion.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin V4

Cabin was well designed and nicely appointed with plenty of room. The shower had a glass screen instead of a curtain which was very nice. Sufficient cupboard and wardrobe space. Being a short cruise, we had an inside cabin and the large virtual balcony screen was a great idea.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Hey, it's Sydney. What's not to like. And no, I'm not from Sydney

Hobart

Been to Hobart a few times so didn't do an excursion, however took the opportunity to eat something more appealing and grab a nice coffee. Hobart is a nice place to relax.
