Always a desire to take a sailing, barefoot style, cruise. Island Windjammer staff from the front office to the folks on board ship were friendly, gave excellent information and wanted the guests to have fun.\ The accommodations were clean, sized just right and the temperature kept at a constant level. I would, due to the Sagitta being a motor sailor, bring along ear plugs if a light sleeper. The Captain, crew, just could not have been any nicer or more fun. Dinners, lunch, breakfasts excellent. The activities planned for shore were always well thought out, each morning the days agenda was written on a white board and usually had options for land adventure. The activity directors had experiences many of the options suggested, they also had brochures, maps of the various islands we explored. The deck of the ship had many chairs and lounges and gave the guest the option of sitting in the shade or sun. Safety was really stressed with mandatory life jackets on excursions from the ship to shore. A system that required the guest to turn in a cabin pass worked very well so no one would be left behind. Only word of caution: if you are not in halfway decent shape this might not be the cruise for you. The sleeping cabins do require going down steep stairs.

No mutiny on board this ship....

Cabin 1
Comfortable, cleaned every day, enough storage space, the right size.
