We arrived in Singapore 3 full days before embarkation. Staying near a MRT station was a big plus as we found this a very cheap and convenient way to get around. The Hop-on Hop-off bus was a good way to view Singapore overall and get off where we chose. Another day we went to Sentosa Island by cable car which we enjoyed. The Zoo was good too. Taxis are relatively cheap. Gardens by the Bay is worth a visit too and at night has a beautiful sound and light show. Also on the other side of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel they produce a lovely sound and laser show twice a night.

Embarkation went without a hitch and suitcases were awaiting our arrival at our cabin.

Loved the layout of the ocean view cabin with the walk in robe behind the dressing table wall so when going to the toilet at night the light of the bathroom doesn't disturb. Also lots of hangers and hanging room. Having a number of smaller dining rooms for anytime dining had a more intimate feel which we liked. Initially joined others at tables but then chose table for 2 as the way to go, as service is quicker that way and people on either side always chatty. Service from Waiter Ryan was excellent, in the restaurant on the 5th floor under Pacific Moon(name escapes me). We thought the food in the dining room was excellent, so didn't go to any of the speciality restaurants here, which we've done in the past.
