We chose this cruise for the ports plus the partial transit of the Panama Canal.
The ship itself is interesting and really quite lovely for a smaller, older ship. It has been well maintained and is very clean and "arty."
The crew and the service they provided was exceptional! They all made a real effort to be helpful and friendly.

Clean, comfortable bed, TV with decent programming, lots of storage area. There was a stocked small refrigerator in the room, but we didn't make use of it...too pricey for our tastes.

Wonderful for beach lovers.

Docked right by downtown Oranjestad. Prices on souvenirs really good in town.
Colon (Cristobal)
Dock in industrial area...unsafe to go outside the fenced in areas.
Puerto Limon
Again dock in unsafe area. High police presence around dock area. People were warned that it wasn't safe to go beyond the crowded flea market type shopping area.
