We are a mature couple looking for warm-weather, not too far, one week getaway. We decided on this cruise purely by way of available dates and itinerary. Wanted to see the Virgin Islands. I understand this is the 5th largest cruise ship in the world and I expected to be treated like a commodity (as some of the other cruise lines do).

Nothing is further from the truth. We landed in Miami and were greeted by a friendly, helpful, NCL rep to guide us to the bus. A short ride and we were dropped off at the boarding line up which moved along briskly. No problem and all as I had hoped.

It always takes a bit of time to get your bearings. The layout of this ship made it very easy and in short time we (naturally) found the bars and eateries we were most interested in.
