Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We were with a group of over 300 on this cruise, most of us seasoned cruisers , who wanted to experience the wonders of this ship.It is large, the neighborhoods are very interesting, and the entertainment was top shelf. Our balcony stateroom was sparse with minimal storage, no toiletries or ice bucket. Attempting to get to dinner or a show from deck 8 was almost impossible. On more that one occasion, we waited for over 10 minutes to squeeze into an elevator, only to be faced with long lines to the dining room. The food choices were limited, and salt seemed to be the answer for flavor. The spinach ravioli was excellent, but most of the food was inferior to that on previous experiences on smaller Royal or Celebrity ships. The Park Cafe in Central Park offered a nice option with limited choices. The walking track is covered, which is a plus, but the fitness center is poorly maintained. There are 5 recumbent bikes, and only 1 is in good shape. 2 have no programs available, 1 has a broken arm with bare metal, and 2 also have seat backs which are loose. There is also no staff visible to speak with. One highlight mentioned on the ship highlight screen is the Central Park Tour, which was not available on this cruise. Customer service was clueless , other than to check the daily Compass to check. Needless to say, it was never available.
