Oasis of the Seas Review

Charges you a lot because of it being the biggest ship they have.

Decided to try a cruise after a friend was ALL about cruises. Just chose this ship due to time and openings. Seems to be really disorganized and expensive for every little thing. Took away one time flat fee for texting family on ship and admitted it was so the could force the high internet pricing. Person in charge of room was really not available when actually needed. At least once he was seen on his phone arguing with wife. Long time travelers as well as new ones complained of disorganization. At least 4 times guest services simply solved a problem by telling the person to go tell the outside company in charge of the service in issue that it is supposed to be that way, instead of calling them or walking over and making sure it was fixed. Had some good activities and fun but overall the takeaway was that it was expensive in every shape or form compared to previous cruises and prices.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Ship seems to be in order but is heavily plagued by being unorganized. Due to each thing in the ship being run by a outside group there is a lot of confusion. Coffee location had to be told to honor coffee cards yet the guest services simply said "oh just go tell them that is how it is" instead of calling them or walking over and fixing the issue. Saw it happen 4 other times in regards to 4 diff issues on the ship. Person in charge of our cabin was unable to be reached multiple times and was seen on his phone arguing with his wife at least once. Once they handed the forms out for you to fill for disembarking the night before - you would not be able to get a hold of them in any way whatsoever. Room service took up to 45 min plus and then had to send the manager out to call them to make sure they delivered the order. Took away the feature of using your phones to text each other on the ship for a flat one time fee just so they could try to push the outrageous internet fees, even admitting it. Long time cruise people complained of disorganization and outrageous pricing as well.
