Last times I cruised with RCCL was on the Navigator of the Seas and the majesty of the seas. I like this one the best so far.

My recent experience was that the RCCL food was just ok however it was better on this ship. Giovanni's table was good, Johnny rockets was more towards a gourmet burger than a fast food one and the buffet was much better that the previous 2 RCCL cruises. The Jade area of the buffet I though was the best overall and the food in the buffet was a little hit or miss per each dish meaning maybe you try a chicken dish and a pork dish and you think the chicken is very good but the pork not so good so you just skip the pork for that day. Either way there was a good selection of dishes so an occasional miss was not a big deal in any way because there were many dishes to choose. Overall I liked it.

Sorrentos pizza was well not like your in NY but it is a cruise so for that it wasn't bad, at least they used a good amount of mozzarella still a far cry better than the Pizza Pirate on Carnival which is god awful.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

I was very happy with this room. Before I left I was reading here on Cruise Critic that its location being near the elevators may be susceptible to Elevator noise and foot traffic or noise from the atrium but it was not the case. The room was very quiet. It may be because most people use the rear elevators most often due to that they are closest to the food areas and such but I had no complaints about the room. According to the specs the Deluxe Ocean-view has a slightly larger balcony than the slightly more expensive Superior Ocean view and I must say I liked the balcony very much. a tip, the breakfast room service is free so get it everyday and eat your breakfast on the balcony. Its really nice. The Balcony was roomy the glass was clean. Nice view! The last night around 10 PM I went down to deck 5 to get something to drink and they had this really loud 70's music with Village People dancers and stuff. It was pretty loud on deck 5 however outside my cabin I could hear it a little bit but inside the cabin I couldn't hear anything at all. I didn't know anything was going on until I opened my door, it could have been going on every night for all I know because I couldn't hear a thing from inside. I would defiantly get this room again. Nice balcony, near the elevator and stairs and quiet. I was actually concerned before I left that I made a mistake in picking this one and it would be noisy due to its location but thankfully it was good. one of my favorite rooms on any ship I had sailed so far.

Port Reviews

Labadee

Been here before. I noticed they had this area closed where you could walk out over the rocks and the waves would splash below you and spout up through the holes, not sure why it was closed. the drink package is valid on shore here.

Falmouth
