It sounded like a good cruise but it was not. The ship is tired, front desk is terrible and seemed like half the ship and crew got sick including us.

We have taken other Princess Cruises as well as Norwegian and Viking. Princess was high quality but from this cruise it is no longer. There are four main reasons for the low rating. First we had an obstructed view from a basket and ladder used to as windows that hung in the middle of our balcony. We complained and were ignored. Because of the obstruction we could not take pictures from the balcony. Second the disembarking for excursions was poor. We constantly were told to hurry up then forced to wait hours and excursions were of lower quality than on previous cruises. Third the internet access was very expensive and exceedingly slow. Slower than on past cruises ever though technology is improving. Fourth for the second half of the cruise most of the people we met were sick or getting sick as were the crew. That said, we neither heard nor read any mention and there was not the emphasis on heigene as there was on our last Norwegian cruise. We were sick by the time we left the ship and are not fully recovered now.

We used anytime dining and it was very average except the specialty dessert each night was very good.
