This is my second time on the Liberty and my 7th cruise overall. I love everything about the ship, it's employees and it's guests. My husband and I love Captain James, he is the best captain we have ever had on any ship, he keeps you informed of every thing going and with him American he is so easy to understand, ok most of y'all will understand this completely. We have had some Captains that you could barely understand, don't get me wrong they were great at their job but their English was not the best. With the sever fog in Galveston, three of the Carnival ships were delayed and behind schedule Captain James brought the Liberty on time and we left on schedule as well. Leaving Jamaicia we had a medical emergency and had to turn around and go back to take a patient to the hospital, we were already at least four hours behind schedule when we find out an approaching cold front with gale force winds is due into Galveston right at the time we should be there, so he made the call to put the pedal to the metal and beat the cold front. We cruised at least 22 knots all the way from Jamaicia and arrived back in Galveston around midnight, way ahead of the front. This is just a tiny bit of our exciting and fun week, the room was great, the food was great and I can't say enough about the Liberty. Meeting Nathan Osmond was just awsome, he is a great singer and such a humble young man, I hope he goes far in his career. He comes from a family of great entertainers, he can't go wrong.

This trip to Galveston was not the best, we had good food and a great hotel but the weather was cold and foggy. January weather is winter, what can you expect??? LOL
