This was a fantastic trip. Everything was perfect. It is the first time in my life that I can honestly say that I would not change a thing about this vacation. Thank you Viking. This was my first river cruise and it has spoiled me. There is no comparison between a river cruise and an ocean cruise as they are very different. I REALLY liked the river cruise.

The meals were really wonderful, the crew was fantastic and their teamwork and morale made the trip even more enjoyable, the excursions were the best I have ever experienced on a cruise as the guides were knowledgable and articulate and the tours worthwhile.

The usual problems that occured were resolved very quickly by the crew and always very favorably. I especially liked the fact that there was no "casino" or organized entertainment. The passengers were primarily from the U.S., the U.K., Canada and the rest of Europe and in general were well-informed. It was extremely pleasant to get to visit with the other passengers at meals and other shipboard times. A high point of the cruise.

Spectacular. Lots of walking and fantastic views over the Rhine. The castle was a real treat.
