A GREAT cruise - but there's a BIG problem

Many kudos - crew + food + drinks - all good! The complaint: We booked an aft cabin (#8164) - on deck #8. That's one deck below deck #9 - the Lido deck where the aft pool is located. Each morning - about 6-7am - incredible noise traveled downward from Lido. We complained non-stop, but to no avail. So on the 2nd 1/2 of our back-to-back, we upgraded to a Neptune suite at a considerable increase in cost. This suite was wonderful! DO NOT BOOK AFT SUITES IF YOU WANT A DECENT NIGHT'S SLEEP!!!
The cruise itself was just about perfect: Fine weather, scenic sites, easy embarkation/disembarkation. The BB King Lounge was a hoot: Great band that played many contemporary songs, but not too many BB King tunes - odd! "The Band" that played in the Piano Bar was so-so if you like ballroom dancing (we drank at the bar until a decent tune came up).

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Cabin good sized with plenty of room for luggage, etc. TERRIBLE EARLY-AM NOISE (see above). Good viewing from verandah window - port side views. Located very near to Lido deck (breakfast/lunch buffets there).
