good bye show after 14 lovely days on the Norwegian Breakaway.

This was our first cruise experience. We travelled as a family of 4 with our daughters who were 11 and 14. We opted for 2 weeks from New York so that we would have the 3 days at sea to unwind and get in vacation mode and then the 8 days at beautiful ports and the 3 days at sea to chill out and relax again. It was a wonderful vacation.

We were very impressed with the Norwegian Breakaway and her staff. Wonderful people. Let me say that again, WONDERFUL people. The ship is huge! And so CLEAN!!! The first day or so you might feel crowded and have to wait in lines but after that everyone spreads out and we didn't feel crowded for the rest of the journey. There are so many things to do and places to catch a moment. There are lots of restaurants with wonderful food. My daughter is vegetarian and there were many healthy options for her to try. Sometimes the service in the main dining rooms is a little slow. Take a deep breath, look into the eyes of the loved ones you are travelling with and enjoy the moment. There is no rush.

Shows and ship entertainers were great. We enjoyed a bunch of shows and an afternoon of Bingo. You can wander into lots of great music and activities on the ship. There is something for everyone. Cirque du Soleil dinner was fantastic.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

Fantastic room. Double bed, couch turned down into twin bed, 2nd twin dropped from ceiling. Clean fresh white linens. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Lots of storage space for the 4 of us. Beautiful large balcony with 2 loungers and 2 chairs and a small table.

We stayed in a hotel in Times Square before our cruise.
