I wanted to take some time and let you know how our cruise on the ELATION went.

I don’t like to start with this BUT it needs to be addressed. Our first afternoon on board we went to the LIDO deck to get a bite to eat. We got some food on the forward serving line by the midships stage area. My wife got a piece of roasted chicken, (I got a hamburger). When my wife cut into the chicken it was RAW on the inside! We didn’t want to make a big deal about it BUT wanted to let the serving crew know/correct the issue. She brought it back to the server and showed him the issue. He basically grabbed the chicken from her plate and asked if she wanted another piece. She got one but before he served it he cut into it to make sure it was cooked, which it was.

Another negative issue with the cruise (again) was with the food. Whether we were at the LIDO for breakfast or lunch, or the main dining room for Sea Day Brunch or dinner the food was never HOT, sometimes luke warm but that was it. Again we didn’t want to make a big deal of it, but want to let Carnival know that there’s an issue on the Elation. I’m hoping it was just one of those things for that one sailing.
