We chose a Viking cruise from Paris to Normandy to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and to experience the opulence of Paris and the history of WWII. We experienced so much more than that. We gained a better understanding of Medieval, Renaissance, Directoire and Modern French culture.

The Kadlin was a recently commissioned, comfortable, immaculate, beautiful ship that felt very much like we were cruising on a friend's personal yacht. Staff and crew could not have been more gracious and accommodating. Many of the staff new us by our names halfway into the trip. As we approached the lounge nightly, our bartender would have my martini and my wife's wine on the bar by the time we reached it. Fabulous meals morning, noon and night--each day reflecting the cuisine of region we were traveling through. Informative tour guides and comfortable motor coaches rounded out a world-class experience. We will surely cruise with Viking again in the future.

Cabin Review

Cabin veranda B

Stateroom was sleek, modern and roomy. Could have used an extra 8" between foot of bed and dresser for two people to move about the cabin while getting dressed
