We chose this cruise for scheduling purposes, while 4 days is never enough cruising, it was all we had time for. We had not sailed on RCCL in a while (Princess and Carnival the past couple trips) and were pleasantly surprised. While the exterior of the ships shows its age, the interior was well maintained. Loved the Oasis bar on the main pool deck. Also liked the fact the Windjammer Cafe stayed open later in the afternoon for light lunch. There is nothing worse than coming back from an excursion to find you've missed lunch and the only things available are a hot dog/hamburger or slice of pizza. We chose anytime dining but made our dinner reservations online before boarding for the same time every night. We were also able to add members of our party not staying in the same cabin to our dinner reservation at the same time. While we didn't know it at the time, making these pre-boarding reservations allowed us to go back to the same table with the same waiters and no waiting in line for the maitre' d to check us in. We also bought the drink package a few weeks before sailing and it was well worth the reduced price of $48/day (same package on board $61/day). The premium beverage package also included Starbucks coffee, soda (with free cup!) and bottled water. One good thing to know is that unlike Carnival or Princess, not everyone who is over 21 in your cabin needs to buy the package.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Three women shared this cabin and there was plenty of storage for clothes, makeup and everything else. Our steward, Lindsey, kept us freshly supplied with towels and we all asked for robes to use which she happily provided.
