Second Norwegian cruise and we were not disappointed. Three of the four stops were places we had not been before and we enjoyed them all. Even Cozumel where we had been before was totally new thanks to an excursion expertly arranged by our Cruise Critic Shipmates that ventured to a beach bar pub crawl on the East side of the island.
I absolutely fell in love with the waterfront. In my opinion this is the best area of the ship. We had dinner outside at Cagney's, La Cucina and Moderno. The outside seating just added to a wonderful dining experience. We really enjoyed the entertainment onboard. Burn the floor and Million Dollar were both fantastic. Wine Lovers: The Musical was surprisingly enjoyable. We also enjoyed the Comedy show with Frank and Howl at the Moon. The cabin was small for a mini suite and as discussed on many reviews the balcony is tiny. But with the Waterfront area we hardly needed the space. I would definitely recommend both the ship and the itinerary to anyone. Also if you have the chance make sure you attend the Cruise Critic Meet and Greet. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot from our Cruise Critic shipmates.
Embarkation was not handled well. The lines were long for check in. There was no priority line for Latitudes Members. The two hour wait prior to boarding was ..... painful. There was no explanation of the boarding process and as soon as the first group was boarded, everyone bum rushed the entrance area. As subsequent groups were called it was difficult to get through the crowds.
Small but adequate. The balcony was tiny and may not worth the extra money.
Great little island but water was kind of nasty and not what you would expect in Belize
