Sail Date: Jan 2017
Cabin: Family Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom
Traveled with children

This cruise was chosen for the itinerary and the experience of sailing on a Royal Caribbean Ship.

We were lucky to book one of the new Panoramic Oceanview Family cabins. They are wonderfully positioned above the bridge with six huge windows spanning the perimeters of the room. Each morning it was fantastic to pull the curtains back and watch the ship come into port whilst laying in bed. Just magic.

We chose Anytime dining and it was the perfect choice for our family. I booked many of our eating times prior to boarding and chose later eating times. This fit in well with our planned activities. The food in all the places we ate were excellent quality with fantastic service.

Family Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin PF

What can I say.... The six Panoramic floor to ceiling Oceanview windowed room above the bridge was spectacular. There was generous room for four to six people to spread out and relax. The two bunk beds were very spacious, but were a bit small for our daughters 6"5" tall boyfriend so we had the sofa bed made for him with plenty of room to dangle his feet over the end of the bed.

It had one and a half bathrooms which were fantastic when we were all trying to get ready for dinner each night.

This room can not be booked on line, you will need to book through a travel agent or ring Royal Caribbean sales direct. This rooms comes highly recommended.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

People watching and sight seeing from Circular Quay is a must. If you want to get some culture without paying a cent, take a walk through the botanical gardens and visit the NSW Art Gallery. This as a short stroll from the port, or just opposite the port is the NSW Contemporary Art gallery both come highly recommended.
