To see and experience Europe and it's people and culture. The cabin was very good. There was a total lack of fitness facilities. Service aboard ship was very good from the room steward who was excellent as were the dinning room staff.

The area that I was disappointed with was relating the to pre and post portion of the trip. We had extra days in Budapest and Amsterdam. The hotels and rooms were disappointing. A couple of the years ago, we took a Viking cruise in China. The rooms and the hotels selected by Viking were outstanding.

The ports and shore excursions were mixed. Some were outstanding while others were disappointing. Several of the excursions seemed very similar to the others and did not provide any new experiences. I believe more diversity of the excursions should be considered.
