I have been on several cruise lines. Overall, I think Princess is one of the better ones . However, there are drawbacks that I will be discussing:

1.Food: Overall the food was good. The pastry and deserts were particularly good. Princess, unlike other cruise lines such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean, make their own pizzas from scratch. In fact, they have a pizza restaurant on board that served real italian pizza. Don't expect NY style though. Most other cruise lines, particularly Royal Caribbean, had frozen pizza that they simply thaw out. Here all pizzas were made from scratch as were the pastries.

The ,main cuisine, however, was mediocre. I don't normally eat pork yet they had as much as five pork dishes at a meal. Don't they know that roasted chicken exists. As a senior passenger, we are very interested in healthy food. There was a LOT of fried items. I really wish they had more turkey offerings and grilled chicken offerings and less pork and less fried food.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Even though I got a balcony, room was very small and tight. Even the balcony was small and tight. I have seen balconies that can have large lounge chairs. Our balcony wouldn't fit such as chair. They also had only two chairs. Thus, we didn't have chairs for guests.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

I loved the Grand Cayman. I advice to take a $20 tour from people off the ship. You will see more for your $20 than what the cruise would charge $108 for the same stops. We also loved Cozumel particularly the ruins. Here, however, I would book through the cruise since it is a long trip and things can be delayed. This way, if there is a delay, they will hold the ship for you.
