The trip was perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly well trained and seemed to anticipate our every need. The food was incredible. Our Chef,Karl, was quite the showman but he backed it up with delicious meals. I liked that an excursion was offered every day at no extra cost as opposed to some cruises that what an additional charge every time tou get off the ship. The excursions were geared to the cultural and educational style which I liked. After the excursion you had ample time to explore the city on your own or return to the ship and relax. The entertainment on the ship ranged from good to okay to very good. I especially liked an acoustic rock trio our last night in Amsterdam. I was disappointed they only played one set though. I was very pleasantly surprised to find Viking representatives at the Amsterdam airport that assisted us in checking in. The two other couples we traveled with and we are already planning our next Viking trip.
