This was an item on our bucket list. We had heard so much about cruising the Panama Canal that we decided that would be our next trip. What a great decision. Our room was at the very back of the ship, and we enjoyed many an hour sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. Norbie, our room steward was so good, I asked him if he would like to come home with us! LOL Mary Jane, our butler took very good care of us.When she found out that my husband loves chocolate chip cookies, she brought him some every afternoon. And when she learned that we were ice tea drinkers, there was always a pitcher of tea in our mini fridge. The shows were very good, especially the Russian couple. Food in each of the restaurants we ate in was good to very good. We had a great time at Tapanyaki restaurant. Our suite was 9672 on level 9 in the very back. Very roomy, lots of storage, and suitcases could fit under the bed to get them out of the way. Overall, we would recommend this cruise to anyone.
The bed could have been better. It was very firm and so were the pillows. The room was spacious. We had a handicap room, so it was laid out a little different than the online picture, but I loved the walk-in shower. Room had so much storage space, that we didn't use it all. We were a little worried about noise from water churning from the props, but really couldn't hear it with the balcony door closed, and it was soothing when we sat on the balcony.
Very smooth, probably our best ever. We were in our suite within 30 mins after arriving at the terminal.
Went whale watching.
