The river cruise through the three gorges of the Yangtze was fantastic. We also enjoyed the side trips and off ship entertainment all of which were first class. The tour guide could not have been better. His English was very good and he was extremely knowledgeable.
We liked that Viking placed you in the same group for all of the off ship activities. You really get a chance to know the guide and the other 26 cruisers in your group. Also, in several instances the guide went above and beyond to assist people in the group.
The staff on the ship were all Asian and were great. We embarked before dinner and the next morning were greeted by first name. The food was consistently and service was excellent.
Cabin Review
The cabin was comfortable and staff was accommodating. Not quite the level of fit and finish that you would see on an upscale ocean cruiser.
