Survey tour of southern France

Traveling without repacking each day meant more time to relax and enjoy. Living on a hotel that is at the center of each city makes for the best experience. The crew was attentive and good humored. Did it rain? I suppose it did but we hardly noticed exploring the shops, cathedrals, and sights. Our red umbrellas kept us together and more than once allowed us to regroup with our tour.

Dining with an excellent chef cooking with local ingredients but also enjoying restaurants ashore made for a gastronomic delight. Pairings of local wines made the meals. Dining with a variety of couples introduced us to our intelligent and learned shipmates. Read more
