First the pros: VERY inexpensive cruise Easy access from JAX airport to the port Fastest check-in I have ever experienced Musical entertainment was good Dinners were good to very good Evening Dining room service was good Salad bar in the cafeteria style dining was good and fresh Burgers from the pool grill were very good Room attendants did a good job Nassau port was easily accessible – easy walk to town. Good beaches, good restaurants and shopping. Now the cons: Desperately needs refurbishing - Major entertainment is marginal at best – mostly game show type events – no shows. Shops were very small with very little merchandise Breakfast dining room staff was not very good Breakfast food in the dining room was marginal The “Sunday Brunch” was the same food as any other day Rooms really needed updating – the dresser drawers would hardly open, closet doors didn’t close – just OLD Not very many room amenities – no hair dryer, no hair conditioner, no lotion, no ice bucket Port of Freeport was almost inaccessible - in the middle of nowhere – at least 10 miles from town and when you got to town there wasn’t much to do or see. Disembarkment process was AWFUL. They encouraged us to carry our own luggage to get off faster. We stood around the hallways of the ship for about an hour - then once we got off the ship we had to wait in a “snaking” line for almost another hour to get through immigration and customs. Very poorly planned.
