This was my husband's first trip to Europe. It was thoroughly delightful. He was in seventh heaven with every historical venue from the Arch de Triomphe to the Normandy Beaches. The room was extremely nice, the food was exquisite, the service was superb.

The only disappointment was the amount of time we had to tour Versailles with the group. We could have used at least another hour at the site. However, Napolean's Chateau later that afternoon was grand !! Given the proximity of those two sites...we should have lunched nearby instead of going back to the ship for lunch. That would have given us much more time at Versailles.

Not only would we love to sail the Seine again but we have already booked the Rhine Getaway for next year..with a couple that we met on the Seine cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda A Stateroom

It was lovely. 2nd floor. Plenty of room with a nice little balcony. The service was excellent.

I love how Viking does not "nickel and dime" you. Everything was lovely..from the warm heated bathroom floor to the water bottles and umbrellas provided for the excursions !

Port Reviews

Paris

The guide was superb. We could have used more time at the American cemetery.

Paris

Could have spent the day there !!
