We chose this cruise after a lot of cruising experience because Viking has taken the difficulties out of the experience making it hassle free and very enjoyable. The dining experience was so elegant and the food interesting and delicious. The bathroom we had was the nicest ever with a shower head with power and drawers to put things in. We loved the size of the ship and the smaller number of guests.

The Viking person on the phone (Barb) was so efficient and helpful. Registering for this cruise was the easiest we have ever experienced. The booklet which came in the mail was excellent. The greeting people when we arrived were helpful and since it was so late, they made it easy to get settled.

The bus trips were well done but too long. An hour and a half would be plenty to see what is there and get a feel for the port. The first trip on Tortola in an open air bus was a little scary going up and down the mountains there.

Cabin Review

Cabin ?

The outstanding thing about the cabin was the bathroom. The closet was in an awkward place and the hanger rod was not placed correctly or the hangers were too large…I'm not sure which. The hair dryer was fabulous. The desk with the lift-up storage was not usable because we always had things on top of it. I do not apply makeup there because I need water. The bed was a little lumpy. The cabin men were wonderful. The lighting was well thought out. The balcony was great and it was all very clean and enjoyable.
