Our cruise took us on two different Viking longships. Our first, the Rinda, was on the Seine. We took an excursion to the beaches of Normandy, which was an outstanding experience. Very poignant and moving. We also cruised on the Viking Delling. Between both ships, we stopped at several cities for wine tours, city tours, and wonderful local food! We learned a great deal about Van Gogh and his paintings, saw the wheat fields he painted, and visited the house where he died, as well as the cemetery where he and his brother were buried. We also visited Lyon, Arles, Avignon and more. All were wonderful and the people we met were friendly and warm.. Viking, as usual, did everything perfectly. Our guides were knowledgeable and very interesting. The food on board, as usual, was excellent, and the overall service superb. We have always been thoroughly happy with every Viking cruise we have taken, and this was no exception. It was a wonderful 14 days!!

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

We had a Veranda suite on both longships, which means we had a bedroom and a "living" room. Each room had a TV and the living room had a comfortable couch and easy chair. We also had a safe (all cabins do). The bathroom had a heated floor. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a veranda off the living room with two chairs and a table.
