Friends told us how wonderful the Viking cruises were and they were absolutely correct. The accommodations, food, and service were outstanding. Libations were great too! We could not imagine a better experience cruising. Embarking was so easy compared with other cruises.
The included shore excursions were excellent too. There were plenty of variety of experiences to get a taste of the French country side.They were well paced for we senior citizens. Moreover, the guides were very articulate and well informed.
Overall the experience was very relaxing and informative. Just what we hoped for. We look forward to another cruise with Viking.

The cabin was like a five star hotel on a smaller scale. The room had great accommodations, including the bed, tv, wi fi, and shower. The most pleasant surprise was how quiet the room was. No noise from the hallways, no door slamming, etc. Wonderful for rest.
