Invited to join group of friends and the take in the beauty of the coast of Norway and intriguing Scotland.
New and pleasant ship and great crew with spectacular scenery and interesting ports along the way.
Cabin was very nice and new but more modest than we have experienced on other cruise line for the same category.
Better entertainment than we have had on past cruises but the food was not up to the standards we enjoyed on Oceania cruises along the coast of France and Italy and from Turkey to Greece.
Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.
We did experience problems with tours being unorganized with last minute changes.
Air travel arrangements via Viking was not smooth or easily managed. An example was that we had to wait to secure seating on several flights and neither Viking or the Airlines could assist us so we were left with inferior seating choices and given few alternatives for upgrades. I would certainly reconsider using the air services provided by Viking.
Also, disliked having to pay in full almost three years in advance of the cruise date.
New and very nice but not great as bathrooms were modest in size and amenities.
