I keep wanting to like Celebrity and this is the second time on the Summit... The good first... I actually thought the food was a little better, for the most part, this time... Loved my poached egg guys first thing in the morning they were good and he was so friendly... The embarkment and getting off and on during ports was wonderful never been easier on any other ship... disembarkment not bad... customs a little slow... Our room stewart was great and tried to make our trip comfortable... Like the Tuscan Grill very well...The extravaganzas with the singers and dancers were great along with the band for the show room.. Music around ship was good but we are more into rock n roll than classic or what I consider to b more high-brow music ... Really never got to rock area didn't have time... Casino was ok.. Guest services was very nice.

Now what we had trouble with.. Celebrity uses a thick futon-type mattress on their beds and I did find out they are fleet wide.. They put 3 extra layers of padding on my bed and it is still very hard...and honestly I do like a fairly firm mattress... Also pillows are flimsy at best.. I may cruise Celeb again but they are more expensive than some so expectations are higher.. I did cancel a 14-15 day Panama cruise with them really related to the beds.... Also I went to Q-sine and the flavors were just not for me.. my group made bad choices for me also ..I prefer to avoid beef they dont, the Asian was just plain bad... when I was asked my opinion I gave it and it was not well received... I was going to let it go until the waitress was real upset with me at the end and I went through a long process to get my 30 dollar extra fee back... I only asked for mine back not the other 2 in the group...Guest services was great but the specialty boss was not nice !!! but "doesn't generally do it" but reluctantly returned my supplement... There is some problems with communication between the guest services and specialty dining... Also when trying to make initial reservations with the number they gave you and the time either u couldn't get through or they did answer on several occasions.. Some of the shows were mediocre and magician was bad...did enjoy the set up of the showroom
