Carnival Dream Cruise Review by CruiseLover258
We had a great time on our family of 6, 3 cabin Christmas Cruise to the Western Caribbean out of New Orleans. This was a great cruise, close to home and very affordable. The pools were quite crowded most of the time thus they weren't inviting to use. Our ages included 2 mid 20s, 1- 30s. 1 - 40s, 1-50s and 1 - 60s. Everyone was able to find plenty of entertainment to suit their tastes. We met each night in the dining room and found the food very good and of course excellent service. We truly had a great time!
We found it necessary to rent a wheelchair for my husband and surprisingly had difficulty with access to several areas on the ship. Most nights when leaving the dining room we encountered several early teen aged kids running up and down the hallways hooting and hollering - this is not something we have historically encountered when cruising.
CruiseLover258’s Full Rating Summary
This room was considered handicapped accessible and was as far as the bathroom went, however the main area was rather small with one side of the bed meeting the desk. This required one guest to have to climb over the bed to get to their side. My husband ended up needing to rent a wheelchair and we found the room to be a very tight fit for the chair.
