It was the maiden voyage and it was going to many ports we had only dreamed about visiting together. The ship and crew were great to deal with and our cabin attendant went above and beyond taking care of our every need (the cabin was alway spotless and refrigerator stocked). Shore excursions and the local guides were very good and entertaing (we visited a couple of wineries and made focaccia, ate local foods, saw historical sites, etc.). Dining on ship was excellent and we tried everything at least once (dress was business casual, didn't need any formal wear)
. Wine and beer were free for lunch and dinner. This cruise was mainly for adults as I don't remeber seeing any young children running around or at the pool. The only port where we weren't able to freely walk around without a guide was St. Petersburg. Otherwise, we could enjoy each port on our own after the tours or tour on our own.
