We chose this cruise as we wanted to take a longer river cruise for our first one. This trip included extra pre-cruise days in Belgium, then a river cruise Amsterdam to Budapest.
We were met upon arrival in Brussels, escorted to our hotel for our pre-cruise in Bruges, then motorcoached to the ship in Amsterdam for start of the cruise. At the end we were taken to the Budapest airport. All went smoothly with courteous Viking escorts.
My wife's and my experience could not have been better. The ship was great, the service excellent, terrific food, and excellent "shore excursions" and tours. We usually just took the "included" tours, which were well organized, educational and entertaining, well paced, and led by excellent local guides. We also enjoyed the various on-ship "enrichment" offerings, which were enjoyable and educational, as well as entertaining. Fellow travelers were nice and interesting, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Veranda Superior
Nice room, sufficiently spacious. Nicely appointed. Comfortable Bed. Always clean.
We wanted, and were glad, that we had an upper level room with a good view.
It turned out we hardly used the veranda balcony, so in future might book a cabin with the
French Balcony, but still upper level.
TV choices a bit limited. Internet limited, but as advertised. Very quiet.
