Exceptional choice of ports serving regions of magnificent history and diverse cultures. Our second Viking experience coming after the Budapest to Amsterdam river cruise which was stunning. Fearing (only slightly) this would just have to be at least a little of a letdown, only because the river cruise was so perfect, we were not disappointed. First class all the way. The Viking Sea is the perfect size for this open water experience. Would recommend in a heartbeat! The staff who greeted us at the airport were highly visible, spoke perfect English and were so friendly and helpful. The same is true of the Viking crew who met us at the embarkation terminal and ushered us aboard ship. Our baggage arrived at our cabin door promptly. Our cabin steward immediately greeted us, carried our bags in and explained all cabin features and nuances. Throughout the entire cruise Jay (I think his name was) served us as though we were royalty. The food and service was top notch. Finally our Captain was utterly professional, and made him accessible and allowed us tours of the engine control room and bridge. FIVE STARS
