Our Viking Ship Skaadi provided a beautiful cabin, delicious food, and wonderful service. The views from our room were often breath-taking and, overall, the trip was magical. However, in several ports, we docked adjacent another Viking boat and the view was blocked. To have the advantage of seeing the Budapest skyline from our cabin only to have it blocked by our own cruise company was frustrating.

Viking's personnel are amazing-- charming, charismatic, and devoted to providing a positive experience for their clients. We were highly impressed and noted that Viking must be an oustanding employer.

Most of the excursions were high-quality with very knowledgeable guides. However, not all passengers heeded the physical requirements for some of the paid excursions, and a great deal of time was devoted to moving them along. I believe in being inclusive; however, my husband and I left one expensive tour and ventured out on our own because the pace was painfully slow. Read more
