Small ship, interesting part of Europe and an exceptional value.
We traveled on the Clara Schumann during her last summer in service. The cabin and beds were small but they were well appointed. Our program director, Stephen Guy was outstanding, very attentive and possessing a Broadway quality singing voice if things got slow in the evening Stephen was there to liven things up.
While the cabins were small by Viking standards, this ship was 25 years old, everything else was outstanding. As usual, the staff were attentive, the ship was kept immaculately clean and the common spaces were very comfortable.
Very small with narrow beds. Bathroom facilities were highly functional considering space constraints. Everything was clean and well maintained. Do not plan to sppend much time in your room.
