Overall, we had no complaints about our recent cruise. We were pleased and plan to book another cruise or river tour soon. Our favorite free tour was the walking tour in Old San Juan. Some of the other free tours weren't of the same quality, but I think some of the islands are better tourist destinations than others. We booked specials tours: beach, snorkeling, a sugar cane train, and visit to a rain forest.

We enjoyed the wide selection of dining opportunities and most especially the Chef's Table and the Italian restaurant. We found our cabin to be "roomy" for a ship and appreciated things like a larger shower, vanity table with mirror, and storage options. The entertainment was varied, and we celebrated welcoming in the New Year at a fun, memorable party. Spa and exercise facilities were nice; we had facials and massages. We appreciated the smaller cruise ship. We noticed that Viking passengers didn't have the long lines to embark and/or disembark the ship as did some of the other ships in port. We attended two of the visiting professors' lectures and found them to be informative and interesting. We would not hesitate to recommend Viking; this was our second experience. It won't be our last.
