We've been on 100 + - cruises over the past 22 plus years, but this was our first cruise on a Viking Ocean ship, although we have travelled on Viking River cruises. Our ocean cruises have been mainly on high-end cruise lines, and we were curious as to how Viking did things.

We found the ship to be very spacious and comfortable, even though running at/near capacity. The food was very good as was the service. The "no kids, no casino" set up was fine with us, and the general no-pressure atmosphere was great. Our stateroom was very good, larger than expected, and the room service was excellent. Having all staterooms with balconies is a big plus. In general, we do not travel on ships larger than approx. 1,000, so this ship was right on our preferred size. We will travel again on Viking Ocean, and will recommend into our friends.
