We chose another Viking cruise based on excellent experience in the past. Viking is not flashy, there are no kids, no casino, etc.Only 900 passengers. It's a more sophisticated and older crowd. No one gets loud or drunk on Viking. This was the West Indies Explorer itinerary.
Dining is excellent, including wine or beer or soda with lunch and dinner. Waiters seemed a little more harried than last year.
Entertainment is as good as the big ships, although we were disappointed to see the same shows we saw last year. They put on a great New Years Eve party in the atrium with nice dance music.
Viking offers one included excursion in each port, plus several pay-extra options. At first we were disappointed in the excursions, but then I realized it's unfair to compare Barcelona or Roma to Tortola or Guadaloup. Weather and scenery in the Caribbean are great, but honestly there just isn't much to see.
love the heated floor in the bathroom.
Wifi works almost everywhere.
Space is tight, but similar to any other ship.
