Embarkation/Debarkation. Seamless as usual with FTTF. 15 minutes from curb to cabin. Debarkation was very organized and fairly quick.
Ship. The Dream is beautiful. Kind of hard to figure why she's going into drydock. Fairly easy to navigate. There are many different areas for each taste also. If you like quiet, there's the double decked Serenity area. Active and in a party mood, there's the main Lido Deck pool. The aft pool is a bit more laid back. The Ocean Plaza/Lanai, personally I think is the best place on the ship for just chilling and relaxing.
Cabin. We had Cove Balcony room 2375. Room was spotless and ready to go when we got on board at 1145am, but, having FTTF might have been a part of this. Good sized room, and wait for it.. LOVED the bathroom! I've seen some complaints about the size of the shower. I am big guy (BIG GUY) and I had ZERO issues with the shower. Bed was comfortable and linens were excellent. Bed was super comfortable. SMALL, teeny, tiny criticisms... The bed frame was showing the whole time, no matter how many times the bed skirt was fixed by Paul, our steward. Carpet had two real bad wear areas. Bathroom door you had to push/pull HARD to get it to close. Think these might be one of the aging things that might be addressed with drydock. EVERY lampshade was loose and floppy. Easy fix by tightening down the screw-nut that held them in place, but...Being so close to the water was fantastic. If we ever sail on a ship with cove balconies again, we will DEFINITELY book one.
