The itinerary was the main reason for choosing Hal, and my last cruise with them was 2003. So the rose coloured glasses came off pretty quick the first day when half the food choices for us were quite ordinary. At night some of the menu items were also suspect, but we quickly came to pick thru the choices, so most of our meals then were wonderful.

The decor of the ship was top notch, and the culinary centre was superb. Loved all the trivia games, and Christina from the culinary centre was the outstanding crew member for us. Her bubbly nature and ease of delivery with her sessions made it a must do for us each sea day.

Our inside cabin 2523' was large and good, with ran and husni our stewards, who kept us neat and tidy. Read more
