So many people had recommended P & O so we decided to try. Itinerary was perfect each Island was great. The ship however was a different matter. cabin (we had a balcony) was average with very few little extras to suprise you each evening as on other cruise lines. It was adequate.

The self service food area was very poor. Staff very slow to clear tables and lethargic, rubbish on floors ignore for too long. Regularly ran out of mugs for coffee, cubs for water and fruit juice. Fruit juice and water ran out at regular intervals. The food was unimaginitive and very British, food again regularly ran out and jams occured whilst people waited for what they wanted to be replaced, I would suggest they should be refilled before they get to only 25% full. Hot plates were stored in such a strange plac e that queues formed waited to get them whilst others chose the food right by them, again plates and bowls ran out consistently.

The resturant for dinner was very good, we had excellent waiters and wine waiter who would do anything for you. For me the food was excellent but did not suit my wife with quite a bit of fish each night. Again very British in style.
