The cruise was recommended by another NCL ship person. This ship was designed differently from other NCL ships. Someone on the ship said it was made in France and was the only NCL ship from there. If you want any bathroom privacy this is not the ship for you. If you want a really good well managed cruise this is not your best choice. It really should only be operating in Europe. The crew was very diverse and not really on top of their game. I think the ship needs a lot of training and management changes. I am not sure when this ship was last renovated or if it ever has been, but the ship needs work. When compared to the Getaway, Breakaway or Escape it is not even close. Cleanliness, friendly knowledgeable staff, food quality, entertainment, elevators just about everywhere you look it is not as good. We did 4 shore excursions and only one of the four was good. The Drag Queen show is certainly an interesting choice of entertainment. I am a loyal NCL customer but I would never cruise on this ship again. I think if you had not cruised before, especially on the ships I mentioned above you would think this is okay. Not for me!

Cabin Review

Balcony

I am not listing my cabin number because I do not want the cabin steward blamed for this review. The carpet was very worn, pillows and bed uncomfortable, bed was short so your feet hang off, fridge did not work, doors rattled, bathroom set up is a disaster for any privacy, and you can't clean something so worn out.
