From the moment I got on the ship I knew it was going to be an amazing vacation. My family and I have sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past and we had such an amazing time on the Adventure, so we expected the Explorer to live up to that amazing expectation. The ship as a whole had a variety of activities that fit every single age group. For my brother and I, the teen club was where we spent the majority of our time. For my parents and extended family, the bars, casinos, clubs, shows and onboard activities were more of their scene. Although our party had some difficulty with illness on this trip we bounced back and had a fantastic time.

Our stewards were amazing at accommodating our needs, especially during our sick day. Once our party bounced back, we took advantage of everything the ship had to offer. The dining on the ship was fantastic. Every night there was something different to try and I was never disappointed with my meal. On the last night, my family and I dined at chops and I can safely say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Each course was better than the last and it was a dining experience I won't soon forget.

When it came to the entertainment on the ship, my parents and extended family loved attending the shows and live entertainment. They even said it was one of the highlights of the trip. While my parents spent their nights at the shows, I was chilling with my new friends at sea at Optix. Royal Caribbean has one of the best teen programs ever. Their no stress philosophy allows teens to move at their own pace, and gives them the option to pick and choose what activites they want to attend. My new friends and I could've done as much or as little as we wanted to. Our activites ranged from soccer on the sport court to karaoke at the club to late night snacks at the promenade cafe and everything in between. I had one of the best weeks of my life meeting teens from across the country.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Cabin 7375 was your standard cruise cabin. It was small, cramped, but large enough to comfortably sleep 2 people. My mom and I really enjoyed the cabin because it was spacious enough to fit the both of us without us constantly butting heads.
