We went on the Freedom in the summer of 2012 to the Western Caribbean. The food and service were great. We felt that the service and food were not as good for the Eastern Caribbean trip in 2016. It was Easter week, so it was very crowded. You had to get up at the crack of dawn to get a pool chair. The food service was okay for the most part. When I ordered lobster, they brought shrimp, too. I am allergic to shrimp and asked for something else since it wasn't listed to be served with the lobster. The waiter challenged me about my allergy and asked if I just didn't like shrimp. He seemed really annoyed with me. We hardly saw the drink waiter. We had to ask for him to come over several times. The excursions were all good. The drinks were good. Overall, we still loved the ship.
