|As 2 couple we have sailed with Royal Caribbean for many years and enjoyed a high class of service and entertainment. We have done a Christmas cruise from Sydney before but this was the most expensive and worst cruise we have ever been on. Embarkation was quick and our suitcases arrived promptly to our stateroom. The food in the Windjammer was high quantity, low quality. Barely warm sometimes and never seen being tested with a food thermometer. The evening meal in the Sapphire dining room was often returned to the kitchen because of undercooking or cold and the decorations for a Christmas cruise were amateur. Head waiter Dario was very professional, timely addressing our complaints. His assistant Kevin was very attentive too.

Dress code wasn't observed by a few people but staff ignored this allowing shorts and large logo t shirts at evening dining. GO TO THE WINDJAMMER IF YOU WANT TO DRESS LIKE THAT.

Staff were on the whole attentive. The entertainment staff however could at times be abrupt.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin I

As expected. Well looked after by stateroom attendent Irene? Iris? Had to ask for bath robes which were quickly supplied

Not many benefits as emerald club members.
