I chose this cruise because it had an itinerary that included ports we had not yet visited, and having been a previous cruiser on RCL, Princess and Norwegian, we were interested to see how Celebrity stacked up. Well, I would say. The ship was clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The food was good, although there were a few logistical issues: I felt that some of the dining room dishes perhaps had been waiting in the galley a little too long as the Caesar salad was not chilled, and the ice-cream came out one night almost soupy...perhaps they had scooped it into a hot bowl. Otherwise the meals were tasty and attractively prepared with adequate choices of quality offerings like Prime Rib, lobster, escargots, salmon, etc. The Buffet was well stocked including Indian and Thai dishes.
The entertainment was good on the evenings we chose to go to the shows, and the smaller bands poolside and in the lobby were also good. The speakers were informative, educational and friendly. On the decks there were adequate pool chairs and ample towels and you were not constantly bothered by waiters trying to sell drinks.
